Dedicated to the Lithuanian written language and the State Day of Lithuania this programme symbolically bridges the first Lithuanian language book and today’s poetic texts and songs.

The festival presents “Regnum Musicale”, one of the most intriguing chamber formations in Lithuania. The ensemble of four sisters Daunytė has not only conquered the hearts of music lovers, but also garnered awards in international competitions.

The music inspired by the art works, paintings enlivened by the sounds of music. Mussorgsky’s evergreen “Pictures at an Exhibition” and Lithuanian premieres of Norwegian composer B.K. Evensen’s opuses will offer fresh musical colours and flavours.

Four voices and four hands on the piano will swirl in a dreamy kingdom of waltz and song. Brahms and Schumann’s immortal vocal masterpieces invite to journey into a realm of romantic passion and benevolence.
DANCE AND MUSIC IMPROVISATION IN TOWN

Festival’s creative project presents a synthesis of dance and music born in the streets of a town. Effervescence of the happening offers the shots of the fleeting nature of time. One of the most intriguing contemporary dance personalities Agnija Šeiko, dancers of Klaipėda Dance Theatre “Padi Dapi fish” and musicians of the festival unite in an endeavour to capture an ephemeral moment.
“DISOBEDIENTI ITALIANI”

Italian music constantly wavers between the newest vogue and an attempt to create everlasting etalon beauty. For the parting concert of the festival the “Disobedient” musicians form a festival orchestra to travel the world of Italian music. Arrivederci!

Everyone, three-years-old and older, individually or with parents, is invited to come in good spirit and ready to be submerged into the artistic unknown. Most importantly – bring your best mood and open heart, and we will supply with the materials and tools for your artistic expression.
The workshop led by artists Vaida Kunigėlytė, Vilma Dmitrijevienė, Jolita Sabaliauskaitė and Ieva Mažunaitytė.
FESTIVAL TRASH ACTION
Bring a bagful of dry rubbish (plastic bottles, cans, chip packs, a lost slipper, a rusted explosive from the WWII, etc.) collected at the beach or other recreational site to an “Agila” Culture and Information Centre (Taikos g. 4) in Nida or L. Rėza Culture Centre (L. Rėzos g. 54) in Juodkrantė and you will get an invitation to any event of the festival.
