Sculpture "Neringa armchair"

Built in 2014, author Albertas Danilevičius
The 5-meter high oak sculpture representing an armchair is situated near the lagoon in the Valley of Silence. This sculpture reflects on the legendary giant Neringa, who piled up the Curonian Spit peninsula. According to employees of the Curonian Spit National Park Office, “Neringa Armchair” is more than just a piece of art – anybody who wants to can climb and sit down on it.
