Low relief “A Post Chariot”

Low relief “A Post Chariot”

Location: Taikos st 13, Nida

Historically known as an important European post route, the Curonian Spit connected West and Central Europe with the Baltic states between the 17th and 19th centuries.

This imposing metal monument pays tribute to this significant part of Curonian Sip history: it was made by Eduardas Jonušas in 1977, following a commission by the Lithuanian Post Office.
