Location: Miško st 11, Juodkrantė

A monument to renowned German archaeologist, ethnographer, linguist, baltist and professor of the University of Konigsberg, Adalbert Bezzenberger (1851 – 1922) can be found in Juodkrantė, next to the holiday hotel “Kuršių kiemas”. Bezzengberger was a frequent visitor to Juodkrantė and a lifelong admirer of the Curonian Spit and the Lithuanian language.

The memorial was created by Kęstutis Musteikis in 2017.
