Location: Nida–Smiltynė road 8, Nida

An understated, playful oak sculpture greets visitors at the entrance of a whimsical cafe “Old fisherman”. It is a monument reminding of the Curonian Spit’s unique climate and living conditions as well as the constant friendship and “war” with the wind element of the local fishermen.

The sculpture was made by Eduardas Jonušas and opened in 1974.
