Sculpture “The Chair of Neringa“

Sculpture “The Chair of Neringa“

Location: South of Nida's town

Another heart-warming tribute to the Neringa legend - an inviting wooden throne of the great defender of the Curonian people stands in the Valley of Silence, overlooking the blues of the lagoon. A grand 5-metre tall seat that eternally awaits its beloved owner Neringa, was unveiled in 2014 by sculptor Albertas Danilevičius.

The initiators of the statue, the officials of the National Park of the Curonian Spit, encourage everyone to climb and test the giant’s chair themselves - a perfect photo is guaranteed.
