During this excursion, you will visit the Lithuanian part of the Curonian Spit, experience the unique nature with its sand dunes, forests, famous local historical figures as well as learn about the history of fishers’ life, villages and towns. You will go to the Hill of Witches, a breeding site of cormorants, the Dead Dunes (the Grey Dunes), the Thomas Mann Museum, the ethnographic cemetery with Krikštai, the Amber Gallery in Nida, the exposition of the weatherwanes, the old part of Nida as well as the Parnidis Dune.
After visiting the most beautiful places of the resort, you will stop in Preila, where you will take part in the educational activity "Experience ceramics". You can choose from two educational classes: an art class, where you will create artistic collages/souvenirs from collected natural materials, or a ceramics class, where you will sculpt artistic souvenirs from clay.
The educational activity is for a group of 15 people, so the whole group will take part in turns. While one part of the group does the educational activity, the other one can rest in comfortable premises on the coast of the Curonian Lagoon. The trip will take around 8 hours.
